CARLO VEDANI - Chairman

Carlo Vedani (1966), married with three children. Since 1996 he has been Chief Executive Officer of Fiduciaria Orefici Group (Fiduciaria Orefici SIM S.p.A. and Fidor S.p.A.), From 2001 to 2007 he has held the position of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Private Wealth Management SGR. Before that, he had work experiences both in London and New York. For more than 20 years he’s been Board Member of CasAmica Onlus, a non-profitorganization which every year gives hospitality to ca. 3,000 patients and their family who have to stay away from home to receive hospital care, thanks to the 6 houses (4 in Milan, 1 in Lecco and 1 in Rome) with overall 200 beds. He is President of Rotary club Milano Manzoni Studium. Carlo is keen on sports (soccer, alpine and cross-country skiing and running).

ROBERTO GATTI - CEO

Roberto Gatti graduated in Business Administration from Università Bocconi in Milan and obtained a master’s degree in Corporate Governance from Losanna IMD. He worked for Unicredit Group, holding various management positions, such as Head of M&A, General Manager of the Private Equity group company (listed and non-listed funds) and Head of Private Equity. He has been Board Member of several industrial companies (small and medium-sized enterprises, including also Gruppo Concorde, Champion and Raccortubi) and financial corporations (including Unicredit Merchant, Veneto Sviluppo, BGroup and Integrae Sim). He is member of several Advisory Boards and chairs the M&A Committee of AIFI (the Italian association of Private Equity). He is member of the Italian Chartered Journalists’ Registry. He is actively cooperating with Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi (he was Board Member of this foundation) and was contract-professor at Università di Parma and Università Cattolica of Milan.
ANGELO BUSANI

ANGELO BUSANI

Born in 1960. He graduated with distinction in Legal Studies from Università di Parma. He’s been a freelance journalist from 1979, lawyer from 1986, notary from 1989 (current profession, based in Milan), contract-professor in Civil Law at Università Bocconi from 2000. He is Board Member of “Beni Stabili Siiq S.p.A.” (from 2016) and “Interpump Group S.p.A.” (from 2017) (both of these companies are listed on the Italian stock exchange). He is currently Chairman of “Credit Suisse Servizi Fiduciari S.r.l.” (from 2016).
GIANFILIPPO CUNEO

GIANFILIPPO CUNEO

Born in 1942 in Savona, Gianfilippo Cuneo graduated in Business Administration from “Università degli Studi di Genova”. He gained a Master Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1963. He started working for McKinsey - New York in 1965 then he moved to France (Paris) and later on to Italy, where he took part in the opening and development of the first McKinsey Italian office. He eventually became Partner and Managing Director. In 1989, he founded “Cuneo e Associati” advisory company, which afterwards signed a joint venture agreement with Bain (primary advisory company headquartered in Boston); the company became one of the most important top management consulting companies in Italy, counting more than 350 advisors and 4 operations centers. In 1993, he co-founded “Investitori Associati” and contributed to some successful deals such as the acquisition, development and sale of Panini, SEAT and Lottomatica. He is now mainly focused on tailored investment and consulting activities to entrepreneurs, and invests directly in several business initiatives. In 2004, he promoted the launch of the first mezzanine fund operating in Italy (Italian Mezzanine). In 2005, he founded Synergo SGR, that now manages several Private Equity Funds. He has been holding various ministerial offices, mainly related to privatization proceedings. He is a contributing editor to many newspapers and author of several books about management.

EDOARDO MARIA VEDANI

Edoardo Maria Vedani graduated in Economics, Management and Computer Science at Bocconi University. After a brief working experience in a British investment bank, he worked in Orefin for one year. He is currently majoring in Business Analytics at ESADE in Barcelona.
